Oklahoma-born Annie Clark, who goes by the nom-de-plume St. Vincent, released her second album Actor earlier this year on 4AD to almost unanimous critical acclaim. It was well-deserved, the album is an instant classic. She had already established herself as a bonafied upper crust indie musician by way of her stints in The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens band before releasing her first solo album under the St. Vincent name in 2007. The next single to be released is "Marrow," which recalls PJ Harvey, Bjork & Peaches while still sounding completely unique and fresh.
